Our Lady Immaculate Primary Project Summary

This project involved the whole school and the wider community. The children grew plants from seed and produced bright arrangements of plants in hanging baskets and tubs. They bought in the services of a local ecologist to help with the delivery of the project and with the elements of enterprise involved. The plants were sold to the local community at competitive prices. Cross curricular application with mathematics allowed the involvement and support of the LEA numeracy team. This culminated with the school being invited to a present their enterprise project to other children a special event at St George's Hall, Liverpool The school also undertook a recycling project.
