Parklands High School Summary

A group of pupils from years 9 and 10 formed a business and ran a community Bistro. They put on a number of special events during which they sold food and drinks both hot and cold, that they had prepared themselves. They practised their skills on the teachers first, by making hot food for staff training days. Then they branched out by opening their bistro in the quadrangle next to the neighbourhood library. During Easter, they ran a special Easter Café for the public. This enterprise was a great success.
