TAIHO-JUTSU This is an Aikido based system that has been used and taught to the British Police. It includes Aikido and Judo techniques.
There is also a sport side to this art which is a good way of getting fit and improving one's reactions and techniques. It is a point scoring sport based on the use of a Tanto (a small rubber knife). JUDO Basic, intermediate and advanced.
This is a good basic form of self defence which can also incorporate the competition side. KARATE Freestyle street orientated. Incorporating defences to various types of strikes, avoidance techniques and utilising other forms of martial art. KICKBOXING This is a combination of full contact Karate and Thai Boxing. Suitable for people of all ages whether young or mature. It can be as physically demanding as one may wish to make it. However, it will get you fit as you learn to defend yourself. The basic standard of this sport includes boxing techniques, along with kicking techniques (which when learnt correctly gives you a good basic self-defence system incorporating punching and kicking combinations. If you wish to progress, the sport also includes elbow and knee techniques along with neck wrestling for close in situations. For
