The basis of the SIGNAL project

• A way of educating the 'surfing' community and drawing our youth into positive activity and opportunity through their own interests (e.g. music development to assist them into employment and aid citizenship.(Govt stats say 50% of current 10 and 11 year olds will work in industry not yet invented)
• Supports SME's in cutting edge IT innovation across its delivery
• Supports the European Capital of Culture in:
  • Getting people behind the bid
  • Creating a sustainable model ie activity to replicate the musical SIGNAL project with art dance drama and sport.
  • Puts Liverpool in the Vanguard of creative industries
  • Raises educational achievement and attainment
